It's official.
We are employees of Katy Independent School District.
Oh.
My.
Gosh.
This is so crazy! I cannot believe this is really happening to us. Monday night was the school board meeting for KISD, and we both received our contracts via email today. We have signed them and emailed them back. It's done.
We have met with Wendy, our realtor. We went through all the necessary paperwork and took all of the pictures. Now, it's a matter of writing the listing for our house and officially putting it on the market. Now, it's time to pray. I really hope that our house sells quickly, so we can begin house shopping in Katy. We have found or looked at several homes online, and they are posted and pending very quickly. We are thinking a two-story house will be better because we'll get a bigger backyard. We are also thinking more square footage so that once we have children we won't have to upgrade to a bigger house. Besides, extra space is always nice.
