Shell Houston Open

Andy and I took off of work on Friday and went to the Shell Houston Open.  This will be our third year in a row to go.  We really haven't been keeping up with golf, but it was still a fun day.  We waited at the tee box of Hole 3 to see a few of our favorites tee off.  Phil Mickelson was literally within arms length of us.  He stood so close to us that I we could have touched him.  It was AWESOME!!

I always find what women wear to the golf tournament... interesting.  I always think about comfort, especially for shoes.  The course is 18-holes long so there's a lot of walking.  It just fascinates me when women wear their high heels.  I give them props because my feet couldn't handle it.

Little did I know that this trip would leave me in pain.  It was sunny, but the wind was blowing so I didn't realize that the sun was scorching my skin.  And that's exactly what it did - scorched my skin.  Three days later and I am still in some pain.  Aloe Vera and I have been best friends!  I will never forget my sunscreen again.  I never allow myself to burn this badly, but I guess I can't say that anymore.
