Kevin's 25th Birthday

My brother's birthday always falls around Mother's Day and the family reunion.  I guess there's nothing better than being surrounded by all of your family for your birthday.  This year was Kevin's 25th birthday.  He has grown into such an incredible man.  There were times that I wasn't sure about his decisions and the choices he was making.  But, I love my brother to death and support him 100%.  I am so glad that we've gotten a lot closer as we've gotten older.

Most of these pictures came from my "good" camera, just my large Canon camera.  So I had Blair take the ones of Andy and I.  Well, I don't have the Canon camera set on the digital display, so it's old school where you have to look through the little lens hole to see what you're taking a picture of.  Apparently, short people cannot take good pictures like that... She literally took five pictures that were half the ceiling and half us.  We were cracking up laughing about.  Hence, the funny pictures of Andy and I.  But then I asked Kevin to take the picture, and he did just as bad!  We did finally get one good one out of the bunch (which is below), and we definitely got a lot of good laughs.

And here's the birthday card that I made for Kevin.

Mother's Day

The title itself is pretty self-explanatory.  My mom is incredible.  I know everyone says that about their moms, but mine really is.  I may not always agree with her opinion, but I value her thoughts and opinions.  She is so selfless and sacrifices so much so that my brother and I can be successful.  I couldn't ask for a better mom.  She is always there for us, and I mean always.  She does everything in her power to support us and help us.  She is always thinking about us.  I don't know what I would do without her.

Even Dexter made the photo shoot!
Not only do I have a mother, but I have a mother-in-law who is also incredible.  She sacrifices so much for Andy and I, and always puts us first.  I know without a doubt that she loves us and her world revolves around our well-being.  She is always willing to help us out, even if it means babysitting our psycho dog!  She is so supportive of Andy and I.  Our marriage would be so different if we didn't have so much guidance and support from her.

As I usually do, I made the Mother's Day cards for our mothers this year.  One of my favorite things about scrapbooking is making cards.  I think I do a pretty good job too.  Andy thinks I need to create an Etsy account and sell them, but I don't know about that.

Family Reunion

Every year for the past 22 years, my family on my mom's side has gathered together Mother's Day weekend for a reunion.  Some years we have a lot of people and some years not so much.  I honestly cannot remember ever missing a single one.  They are so much fun, and I am always reminded how truly blessed I am.  I love my family dearly and wouldn't trade a single one of them.  We are a strong family through the good and the bad.  This year was no exception to good food and great company!

Warning:  Photo overload!  I took a TON of pictures!
