Andy just had his basketball banquet last week. It was later in the year since the head coach (Blair) was out on maternity leave. The JV coach, Jacob, had a great idea about making the girls shadow boxes instead of doing the traditional plaque especially since they were district champions and made it the Regional Quarterfinals this year. So Blair asked but Andy volunteered me to make the shadow boxes. They ended up turning into scrapbook frames, but they looked pretty awesome. I think the girls really liked them too. Here's my sneak peek of the process before the final product.
I ordered thirteen 12in by 12in frames from Hobby Lobby. They arrived in HUGE boxes.
The banquet itself was very nice!! The coaches did a great job setting up with the decorations. The team videos were pretty awesome too. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures at the banquet. But here are the final products of my scrapbook frames.
I even made Blair a frame and told the coaches to surprise her with it.
