Easter

I have fallen behind on my blogging.  We have actually been pretty busy outside of school these past few weeks.  So I'm going to play catch up!

Easter was absolutely amazing!  I drove to my mom's on Saturday night so I could spend some extra time with them.  Andy came Sunday morning.  My mom decided to cook and prepare the meal instead of my grandmother doing it.  It was probably one of the best days I have had in a long time.  Seriously... I was not stressed about being gone most of the day.  I enjoyed seeing my mom, brother, and step-dad who I hadn't seen since Christmas.  My mom prepared a delicious meal of turkey and dressing, sweet potatoes, corn, green bean casserole, and rolls.  I brought a salad, my grandmother brought her homemade banana pudding, and my aunt brought her strawberry cake.  It was oh so yummy.  It's making me hungry just thinking about it now.  After we finished with lunch, we went outside to play some washers and catch up on life.  Like I said, it was the perfect day!

Beautiful day in Shiner, Texas!

On our way home, we hit traffic on I-10.  And when I say traffic, I mean traffic.  It was literally stop and go traffic like I was sitting in Houston during 5:00 rush hour traffic.  It started in Columbus which is about halfway from our home to Shiner.  Thankfully when we got to Sealy, we were able to take some back roads to get home.  Have I ever mentioned how much I hate traffic?  If I haven't, let me tell you... I hate traffic!  I am slowly getting more patient with it the longer I live in the city, but it still frustrates me.
