New Golf Clubs

Andy's golf clubs are over 10 years old, probably more like 15 years old.  Who would have thought that technology would affect the golfing industry, but it has.  Andy talks all the time about how technology has improved the golf balls themselves, how a club can hit the ball more accurately, or how a club can make the ball have more of an arc as it travels through the air.  Craziness to me, but vital for good golfers.  We decided that if Andy is going to improve his golf game, then he desperately needed new clubs.

Here is a picture of his old clubs, all cleaned up.  He is selling them for $200 - Titleist 681 Forged Blades... if you know of anyone interested in purchasing them.

He searched for several weeks for the perfect set, brand and style. He did tons of research, and finally decided to stick with Titleist. They are definitely the upper-end brand in golf, so he knew he needed to buy a used set. He is so great at finding good deals on the internet via Ebay, Craigslist, or whatever. He found his new set through Ebay, but it was a company selling them instead of a single owner which makes the purchase a little more reliable.  It always concerns me when random people are selling their things because you really never know what you're going to get until you get it.  He is quite fond of them, but unfortunately, he hasn't had a chance to hit them due to the weather and tweaking his wrist.  Hopefully soon though!

Here is the pic of his new golf clubs and his new grips.  We had two $10 off coupons at Golfsmith for the grips - woohoo!
